How Pump2 works
Pump2 is a launchpad built on top of pump.fun. Trading, the bonding curve and graduation work exactly as on pump.fun. What changes is how a coin is born: one coin per idea, created from one developer wallet at a random second, every coin paired with PUMP2, and the coin's holders paid in the stocks the creator chooses.
One idea becomes one coin
On pump.fun the same idea launches hundreds of times in one hour, and the volume is split between copies that look alike. On Pump2 the board compares every new launch with every coin launched in the last 60 minutes: the ticker after normalisation (case, spacing, lookalike characters and leetspeak), the name without fillers like official or v2, the picture by perceptual hash so resized and recoloured copies are caught, and the idea itself, read by a model that decides whether two coins are about the same subject.
A match does not fail. It opens the existing coin with a buy button, and the person who tried gets a referral link. Volume that enters through that link pays them a share of the creator fees for as long as the coin trades. Sign in with your wallet before you launch and the link pays that wallet. A coin holds its ticker, name, picture and idea for the first 60 minutes after it launches, the minutes that decide whether a coin takes off. After that the idea is open again and anyone can launch it.
Nobody gets block zero
Every coin on Pump2 is created by the same developer wallet, the Pump2 wallet. You do not sign a create transaction, and the mint address does not exist until the moment it is created. That moment is random: one to five seconds after your SOL lands on the deposit address. Nobody, including Pump2, knows the second in advance, so there is nothing for a bundler to attach to.
You pay a launch fee of 0.02 SOL into a deposit address made for your launch, with one press in your wallet or by sending it yourself. It covers the rent and the transaction fees of the create, and Pump2 keeps nothing of it. The wallet that pays owns the coin. The only buy in block zero is your own dev buy, if you want one: add up to 1 SOL on top, the create and the buy go out in the same transaction, and the tokens are transferred to the wallet that paid right after. Pay from your own wallet, never from an exchange. An address that receives nothing within 30 minutes closes, and the idea is free again.
- Launch fee: 0.02 SOL, paid by the creator, covers rent and fees.
- Dev buy: 0, 0.1, 0.25, 0.5 or 1 SOL, paid by the creator on top.
- Create: from the Pump2 developer wallet, one transaction, random second.
- Tokens: sent to the wallet that paid, immediately after the create.
- Platform holds: nothing.
Paired with PUMP2
Every coin on Pump2 is paired with PUMP2 on pump.fun itself: the bonding curve is quoted in PUMP2, not in SOL, so buying any coin on the board means buying PUMP2 first. A dev buy is paid in SOL and swapped into PUMP2 before the create, and the coin's share of the fees buys PUMP2 and burns it. Until PUMP2 exists on pump.fun, new coins are paired with SOL; the coin panel shows which.
Holders get paid in stocks
On pump.fun the creator fees of a coin go to the person who launched it. On Pump2 they go to the people who hold it. When you launch, you pick up to seven tokenized stocks from the list on the launch page, Tesla, NVIDIA, the S&P 500 and the rest. The coin's fees are converted into those stocks on the open market and paid out to the coin's holders, split equally between the stocks. Pick none and the holders are paid in SOL. The creator does not receive the fees.
Where the fees go
Every coin on Pump2 is created by the same wallet, so every creator fee on pump.fun lands in one place. From there it is split three ways: the holders' share, paid to the coin's holders in SOL or in the stocks picked at launch; the PUMP2 buy and burn; and the referral share, the 20 percent of fees on referred volume that goes to whoever brought it in through a referral link. PUMP2 is launched the same way as every other coin here.
Packs
The packs are the same packs as on pump.fun, with half the house edge. You pay the pack price in SOL at the current SOL price, into a deposit address made for your pack, with one press in your wallet. The card is drawn the moment your SOL lands, with the odds shown on the pack. Every card you can pull is a graded Pokémon card listed on Collector Crypt, and its value is that listing price.
The card goes into your cards on the packs page, under the wallet that paid. From there you can sell it for its value, paid in SOL at the current SOL price to that wallet. A card in your cards is a record on Pump2, not a token in your wallet. A pack that receives nothing within 30 minutes closes, and anything that did arrive is sent back.
No guarantees
Pump2 is an experiment. Nothing on this site is a promise of any payout: not the holders' share, not a referral share and not the sale of a card from your cards. Payouts depend on things outside anyone's control, such as Solana, pump.fun, prices and the services Pump2 runs on, and any of them can be slow, stop or fail. Anything can happen. Coins can go to zero, and a pack can give a card worth less than you paid. Only spend what you can afford to lose.
